>> Police say at least five people were killed Wednesday when a gunman opened fire inside a SunTrust bank in the small town of Sebring, Florida. The alleged shooter, 21-year-old Zephen Zaver, was taken into custody. Zaver allegedly walked into the bank and began shooting just after 12:30 PM in the Central Florida town with a population around 10,000 people.
According to authorities, Zaver called police himself and said he had fired shots inside the bank. After negotiators failed to convince the suspect to leave the bank, a SWAT team entered the building and continued to talk to the suspect, who eventually surrendered. No details about the victims have been released.
