His first court appearance on Thursday. A judge denied bond to the 21-year-old who faces multiple counts of premeditated first degree murder. He is accused of opening fire inside a SunTrust Bank in the small town of Sebring, Florida on Wednesday, killing five people.>> Zephen Allen Xaver knowingly and intentionally took the lives of five of our fellow community members.

Police say after the suspect opened fire he called 911 to say he had shot people inside the bank. When authorities arrived, he barricaded himself inside before surrendering.

>> We have no information as to this time as to what his true motive may have been. We believe that it is a random act.>> Though police have yet to elaborate on a motive, a woman who said she used to date Xaver told a local TV station that he was fascinated with death and guns.
