In this case, police were responding to reports of a man firing a weapon. Upon arrival, 31 year old Blevins fled, the video shows officers ordering Blevins to stop and drop his weapon and warning him that they will shoot him. And that's what happened.>> Put your hands up!

>> When they caught up with Blevins in an alley, they fired more than a dozen shots.

latives of Blevins say he was only holding a bottle in the June 23rd incident. Though another video shows what police say is a gun and later an officer kicking a firearm away from Blevins on the ground.
