US President Donald Trump denying once again that he knew in advance about a controversial June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower with a Russian informant. Trump posting to Twitter Friday quote, I did not know of the meeting with my son Don Jr, sounds to me like someone is trying to make up stories in order to get himself out of an unrelated jam.

Trump there, referring to his former attorney and fixer Michael Cohen, who, according to media reports, is willing to tell special counsel Robert Muller that Trump approved of the meeting where Russians offered to provide dirt on his democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, ahead of the election. Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr, son-in-law Jared Kushner, and senior campaign aide Paul Manafort all took part in the meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya, a Russian lawyer and acknowledged Kremlin informant.

But Donald Trump Jr last year told investigators from the Senate Judiciary committee that he did not tell his father about the meeting before hand.>> There was not collusion.>> On Friday morning, Trump once again denied any collusion between his campaign and Russia. Writing on Twitter, quote, the only collusion with Russia was with Democrats, so now they are looking at my Tweets, along with 53 million other people, the rigged witch hunt continues!
