The political comedy came in with six nominations. But went home with only one prize for actor Christian Bale, who started as former US Vice President Dick Cheney.

One clear winner for the night, Netflix, the streaming giant finishing with five Globe trophies, including best foreign language film for Alfonso Cuaron's Roma.
