>> In Yemen Sana'a on Sunday residents cleared rubble in the aftermath of a Saudi led coalition bombardment. Part of an escalation in fighting that August badly for a second round of UN sponsored peace talks later this month. The air strikes follow a deadly Houthi drone attack on a Yemeni government military parade last week.
The Iran-aligned Houthi movement controls the capital where a Saudi-led coalition spokesman said its warplanes had targeted seven military facilities used for drone operations. But medical workers and residents told Reuters that two civilians have been killed and that the raids had damaged homes.>>

Thousands have been killed and millions brought to the brink of starvation in what is widely seen as a proxy conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran. The United Nation is currently trying to implement a cease fire and troop withdrawal agreement in the port city of Hudaydah, the main entry point for Yemen's imports and aid, that Hudaydah truce has largely held.
But the withdrawal of forces by both sides has stalled in a disagreement over who should control the city.
