As the company says, it has not violated any content policies. Infowars became the app store's third most downloaded news app this week after Apple banned most of Jones' podcasts from iTunes over the weekend which had said had violated Apple's guidelines on hate speech.
Facebook, Spotify and Google parent Alphabet have All removed some content this week produced by Jones. Although the now trending Infowars app remains in Google's Play store, where it's currently the 11th most popular US news app. Jones has spent his entire career peddling conspiracy theories. He is known for claiming that the Sandy Hook massacre was staged.
