>> Funeral preparations are underway at the George H W Bush Presidential Library. In College Station, Texas where the 41st President will be laid to rest on Thursday.

ounds crews are raking leaves and planting new flowers. They've also removed trash cans for security reasons. Mourners are paying tribute to the former Commander-in-Chief with a memorial outside the library.

He lived a wonderful life, an incredible life.>> Inside the library, a new memorial has been installed for the late President, alongside condolence books which are already filling up. On Saturday night, students and others from Texas A&M University held a candle light vigil in Bush's memory.

>> George H Bush was a great President, and right now I feel like we really need that patriotism and the moderation that he had. And I feel like anything I can do to help support that and support their family, I just felt like I needed to come here and pay tribute.

>> Bush's remains will lie in state in the Rotunda of the US capital in Washington DC, from Monday until Wednesday. The State funeral will then return to Texas. Bush's remains will board a special train bound for College Station, where he'll be buried in a family plot next to his late wife, Barbara.
