>> Kim Jong-un wants to finish denuclearization fast and meet with US President Donald Trump to speed things up. That's what South Korea leader said Thursday, he's come home from a three-day summit with the North Korean leader. Moon also said Kim wants to meet the US Secretary of state for nuclear talks.
> Kim said that declaring a formal end to the Korean War that raged from 1950 to 1953 would prompt the North to abandon its nuclear and missile programs, which will in turn lead to a formal peace treaty.
Moon and Kim spent the last day of their meetup on the peak of a volcano, seen as Sacred in the north, Mount Paektu. It was a symbolic photo op with a mythical origin of the Korean people that's often the centerpiece of the North's propaganda. It wrapped up a summit that saw some big promises to salvage nuclear talks.
Kim pledged to scrap key missile facilities and even visit the South's capital, Seoul, in the near future. That would be the first trip to the southern capital by a North Korean leader.
