Nike sold out 61% more of its products, after its ad with former NFL player Colin Kaepernick appeared earlier this month. That's according to research by Thomson Reuters and StyleSage, which found Nike sold out far more items between September 3rd and 13th than in the ten day period before the ad.
The data contradicting President Trump's tweet from days ago that read, Nike is getting absolutely killed with anger and boycotts.>> What are they doing?>> Trump has repeatedly condemned players who take a knee at NFL games.>> Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, out.
>> Kaepernick and others who have knelt during the nation anthem say it was in protest to police brutality against minorities and racial injustice. As for Nike, shares rebounded from an initial drop when the first versions of the Kaepernick ad were released. They hit a record high a little over a week later.
