deadly flash flooding and tornadoes over night Wednesday have brought misery to large parts of south central United States closing down roads and damaging homes , in my backyard which is you know saturated with water what was so so deep David's come into my basement water rushed over this turn pike in Sumner county Kansas this is the worst we've seen over twenty years you know we to stay down here and just kind of want , there's no where to go I mean all over town is pretty flooded in eastern Texas tens of thousands of homes were without power in Houston authorities were working to minimize the flooding as much as possible this will be the eighth time we've lowered the level of like Houston it sits on a daily basis at forty two and a half feet above sea level on Wednesday the body of a man washed away by flood waters was founded lady bird lake in Austin Texas flooding rains are expected to continue in south and Midwest states including Texas Missouri and Oklahoma
