a measles epidemic has forced the more than two hundred students and staff into quarantine at two major California universities because it's a risk of you coming down with the disease and further exposing others you need to stay at a specified location and you need to stay there until such time that you are deemed as not likely to come down with the disease the orders at UCLA and cal state LA come as the U. S. battles the highest number of measles cases since the virus was a radic heated in two thousand those order to stay home were exposed to measles and couldn't verify that they had been immunized at cal state LA officials said one hundred fifty six people are quarantined but health officials believe many more could have been exposed since then infected students visited a school library obviously since there was a library that was involved in it's a public building there aren't they say they have two thousand visitors in that library a day most of them don't sign in or out so we've had a lot of exposure to %HESITATION folks that we actually can't identified at UCLA officials said one hundred nineteen students in eight faculty members were exposed in could not give proof of immunity since then forty of those people have been released the highly contagious virus can lead to deadly complications though so far no deaths have been reported in the latest US outbreak which officials have blamed on misinformation on the safety of vaccines the quarantines are scheduled to end next week
