nnnnn the house of representatives passing a contentious bill giving the president so called fast track authority to negotiate in asia trade deal reuters trade reporter krista hughes i voted to approve simply the fast track element of that they'll only about half of the bill the pot that it gives the president the authority to close trade deals and then streamline the passage , the problem that authority came to the house from the senate linked with another bill providing aid to workers losing their jobs to free trade , a potential deal breaker for the whole package , republican support given obama fast track powers on the so called trans pacific partnership but they are solidly against the worker aid bill on the other side of the aisle democrats have come out strongly against the t. p. p. even voted against the worker bill last week as a way of blocking it , and a few issues that the democrats have got so exercised about , i've done some in the face of really intense pressure from unions and from left wing grapes people will seek to you to challenge them in primaries next year mean that they're not going to have a comfortable life because of the weather as i said today i know they've accomplishes sitting the bill back to the senate where the upper house will have to approve fast track yet again before i can get to president obama's desk meeting another battle next week
