two men who escaped from a new york state prison earlier this month making it to america's most wanted list the u. s. marshal service naming david sweat and richard matt as two of their fifteen most wanted offering up a fifty thousand dollar reward for information leading to their capture authorities continued a manhunt for the convicted killers in the area around the clinton state correctional facility now fourteen days search has extended all the way to the canadian and mexican borders where police are handing out wanted posters , no court date has yet been set for joyce mitchell the prison employee accused of helping the two convicts escape by providing them with a hacksaw blades chisels and drill bits , mitchell pled not guilty earlier this month and faces up to eight years behind bars if convicted
