Serena Williams admitting she accidentally posted that now famous selfie that spilled the beans on her pregnancy and rocked the social media world as a result. The picture, captioned 20 weeks, was posted to SnapChat last week, but deleted minutes later by Williams, who says she simply meant to store it for personal use.
Williams admitting the gaffe in an interview with Gail King during a TED Talk Tuesday, explaining she's been snapping weekly selfies of her pregnancy, but had told very few people of her status by Wednesday's photo blunder. She found out she's pregnant she said just two days before the Australian Open which she went on to win, beating sister Venus.
The 35 year old who's engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, regained her number one world tennis ranking Monday, the same day she posted an Instagram message to her unborn child, quote, from the world's oldest number one, to the world's youngest number one. Williams telling King she plans to continue playing after her child is born.
