COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 2

>> Alexa, take a video.>> She already reads you the news and buys you paper towels. But now Amazon is turning Alexa into your fashion assistant. The company Wednesday launching a voice controlled camera, the Echo Look, and an app that recommends which of two outfits is best using fashion specialists' advice and algorithms that check for the latest trends.
Reuters' Jeffrey Dastin says it's another bid to make their voice assistant indispensable, but also to make her smarter.>> It wants users to interact with Alexa in as many ways as possible. Not just so that users become used to Alexa and can't imagine their life without it. But also because Amazon needs as much data as possible, as many people speaking to Alexa as possible, to make Alexa smarter.
>> While Amazon already dominates the apparel market, the new product underscores the company's ambitions for people to think of Amazon in terms of fashion. And the Echo Look could create a new path for Amazon to get into people's closets.>> While there is no commerce component to the Echo Look today, analysts envision that this could be a jumping-off point for Amazon, where more people associate Amazon with fashion because it's weighing in on consumers' fashion choices.
And where one day, maybe Amazon can virtually project what an outfit would look like on someone, and then they can go buy it.>> The Echo Look retails for $199.99, and is currently available, quote, by invitation only.
