>> 39 year old Kori Ali Muhammad is suspected of going on a shooting spree Tuesday, that left three people dead in downtown Fresno, California. Police say before he was taken into custody he shouted Allah Akbar, God is great.>> We had an immediate response from our officers. One of our officers was traveling eastbound on visitor at Fulton, when he saw a black male running southbound on Fulton.

Immediately upon that individual scene, the officer, he literally dove onto the ground. And was taken into custody, and as he was taken into custody, he yelled out, Ali Akbar. This individual, Cory Ali Mohammad, was wanted for a murder that occurred on April 13, Thursday evening, at the Motel 6, at approximately 11 PM, just after 11 PM he encountered two security guards there as a result of a conflict that he had with them.

And, unprovoked, he shot one of those security guards, who was unarmed, multiple times.>> Police say on Tuesday, Mohammad fired at least 16 rounds in less than a minute around 11:00 AM near a Catholic charities building. Authorities say, he disliked the government and white people. At least two of the victims were white.
