So, we could make a fast decision.>> Before the trial-.>> But the shadow of James Comey likely to linger over the process, as Democrats and Republicans cry foul over the decision to fire the man leading the agency charged with investigating alleged ties between the Trump campaign and agents of the Russian government.
The Wall Street Journal on Saturday saying, that a Senate panel also investigating Trump's ties to Russia has asked for records from the Treasury Department's financial crimes unit. Trump keeping the issue front and center in an apparent threat to Comey made on Twitter Friday, warning him not to talk to the media, suggesting there might be recordings of their conversations.
Asked about whether the White House taped meetings between Trump and Comey, press secretary Sean Spicer on Friday saying, I think the point that I made with respect to the tweet is, the President has no further comment on this.>> Trump on Saturday, avoiding much of this controversy. The President will deliver a commencement address at the US Coastguard Academy in Connecticut on Wednesday.
