>> A main railway station in Paris reopening on Tuesday after a security threat forced police to evacuate it late the previous day. Security officials received a tip off that suspected attackers were travelling on a high-speed train from northern France, leading them to mount a large-scale operation at Gar du Nord located in the center of France's capital.
Eyewitnesses saw between 20 to 30 police vans and armed officers surrounding the station. The country on high alert following several terrorist related attacks and a presidential election over the weekend. More than 230 people have lost their lives in France in a series of militant attacks over the last two years.
