>> We rarely get to see the First Lady, but Americans now have a First Daughter officially in the White House. Ivanka Trump becoming a government employee, but with no pay. In a statement Wednesday, Trump's older daughter saying, quote, I have heard the concerns some have with my advising the president in my personal capacity while voluntarily complying with all ethics rules and I will still instead serve as an unpaid employee in the White House office, subject to all of the same rules as other federal employees.
Questions of possible conflicts of interest bubbling up after it was announced last week that Ivanka who already has an office in the west wing would be informal advisor to her father. Her new title, Assistant to the President. Her husband, Jared Kushner, is a senior advisor and also holds his job without pay.
