>> North Korea hailing its latest weapons breakthrough as a miracle as Kim Jong-un basked in the glory of what he calls a new birth of the country's rocket systems. Pictures from state media appear to show Kim personally overseeing an engine test over the weekend, apparently, held at a known satellite launch site.
As Jack Kim explains, that is a red flag from the get go.>> We think that this is an engine for a large and long range rocket that could either propel a war head as a weapon or deliver a satellite into space. The United Nations believe that when North Korea says it is testing a space launch vehicle, it is usually considered a test of long range missile technology.
We think that this engine is very similar to the one that North Korea tested in September last year. But it seems that they were able to achieve advances in steering the rocket.>> North Korea claims it's close to the test launch of an inter continental ballistic missile that some experts fear it could reach as far as some western united States and Europe.
The test came hours before US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met Chinese president Xi Jinping. Both sides pledging to work together to steer The North from the controversal nuclear program. The question is how they'll agree on the method.>> China recently suggested that the United States and South Korea could try to suspend the annual joint military drills in return for North Korea to suspend its weapons program with the goal of resuming negotiations.
The United States and South Korea have said that they would have to see North Korea stop its weapons program first in order to start meaningful discussions.>> On Monday, China's Foreign Minister made it clear his country wanted to talk North Korea away from its weapons. And that any chance for dialog and peace must be seized.
Donald Trump also weighed in with some heavy finger wagging saying Pyongyang is acting quote very, very badly.>> And it is a message
