>> The gunman, who attacked soldiers at a Paris airport on Saturday, had consumed drugs and alcohol. French officials saying traces of cocaine and cannabis were found in the bloodstream of Ziyad Ben Belgacem. The 39 year old was shot dead after seizing a soldier's weapon and shouting that he wanted to die for Allah.
Reports saying he was radicalized in prison and was on a police watch list. On Sunday, his father told French radio his son drank alcohol and was not a devout Muslim. He also said that he wasn't a terrorist. Saturday's events unfolded after Ben Belgacem was stopped at a check point north of Paris.
He fired at police with a pellet gun before fleeing. It's thought he then used a stolen car to drive to Orly Airport, where he attacked a military unit in the south terminal.
