the nation's capital well recovering Thursday after a mere dusting of snow Wednesday night brought the city to a standstill including president Obama's motorcade but that's just a taste of what's to come anatomy snowstorm charging up the east coast Friday and into the weekend that could dump two feet of snow on Washington with white out conditions along much of the east coast the region already gearing up with hundreds of snow piled at the ready DC mayor Muriel Bowser declaring a state of emergency we're preparing for a glimpse at you know I've lived in DC most of my life and , I know that I , Greenlee large storm Philadelphia New York also in the storm's path resident in the northeast emptying store shelves and tearing up spiritual to hunker down DC already closing schools Friday ahead of the storm which forecasters they could break the record set back in nineteen twenty two when twenty eight inches paralyzed
