On stage, he performed the ballad like the Piano. And if his voice sounds familiar, it's because he's worked with R&B royalty. Before making it as a solo artist, his vocals have featured on tracks by Beyonce, Solange and Drake. Those heights of stardom might still be some way off.
But expect to hear more of this voice.
