>> The Pope getting banged up and bruised Sunday, when the so-called Pope mobile stopped short, sending the Pontiff careening into the protective glass. Not missing a beat, Pope Francis didn't stop waving to the thronging crowds waiting to see him in Cartagena, Columbia. Security detail took notice, wiping his face, but not before drops of blood fell on the Pontiff's cassock.
The minor brush up, leaving the Pope with a visible bruise on his cheek and eyelid, later joking, I was punched. Vatican officials say the 80 year old received an ice pack treatment, and is fine to go on and complete the final day of his trip.
