As a congressman, Price often criticized quote, the fiscal irresponsibility of private plane use by government officials.>> Even posting a TV appearance, saying as much on Twitter. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee opening an investigation this week into travel by Trump's top officials. The Health Department's Inspector General also looking into Price's travel.
>> They're conducting both an internal and an IG review, and all travels on private charter has been suspended until that's completed.>> Price is not the only top official getting heat for pricey travel. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin is facing scrutiny over his use of a government plane to fly to Kentucky, where he and his wife viewed the solar eclipse.
And the EPA's Inspector General is investigating the frequent travels of Scott Pruitt, the head of that department. His many trips to his home state of Oklahoma fueling speculation that he intends to run for a Senate seat. As for Price, his Cabinet position may already be on shaky ground after multiple failed attempts by Republicans to pass healthcare legislation.
Trump chose Price as his Secretary of Health and Human Services because of his commitment to repealing ObamaCare. When Trump was asked Wednesday if he will fire Price, he told reporters, We'll see.>> I'm going to look at it
