The University of Louisville putting Pitino on unpaid administrative leave Wednesday, in the wake of a federal investigation into fraudulent recruiting practices.

On Tuesday, federal prosecutors in New York announced fraud and corruption charges against ten people involved in college basketball alleging some coaches were paid tens of thousands of dollars from apparel companies, sports agents, and financial advisors to steer star NBA bound players toward their services.

Pitino has endured his share of scandals. Louisville is currently on probation by the NCAA with Pitino already facing suspension due to a sex scandal involving the Cardinals dating back to 2015.
