>> Former US Congressman Anthony Weiner sentenced to 21 months in prison on Monday for the sexting scandal that rocked the 2016 US presidential election. 53 year old Weiner, who pleaded guilty on May, was sentenced by a district judge in Manhattan for sending sexually explicit messages to a 15 year old girl.

That discovery prompted a reopening of the FBI probe into Hillary Clinton's emails. Abedin, who has a five year old son with Weiner, filed for divorce back in May. Weiner's lawyers had asked that he be sentenced to probation rather than prison, saying he acted out of quote, depths of an uncontrolled sickness and was now being treated.,
