>> The Syrian army says Israel carried out air strikes in the middle of the night on a military facility. A war monitor says the position at Hama, Western Syria is a branch of a government agency accused by the US of producing chemical weapons. Syria said the air strike killed two people and is warning of dangerous repercussions.
e Israeli Army has declined to comment, but officials have admitted in the past that Israel has repeatedly struck weapon shipments in Syria. Specifically weapons bound for Lebanon's Iran backed group Hezbollah, an ally on the battlefield for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
