a federal appeals court blocking Utah governor Gary Herbert from cutting off funding from Planned Parenthood in the states starting January first the latest in a string of favorable rulings for the organization , Alex Dubinsky is covering the story it was a big win for Planned Parenthood but is not completely unexpected because on court in other parts of the country have also come down in favor of Planned Parenthood and against Republican governors group tried to cut it , Herbert had ordered the cut up in August citing secretly recorded videos that anti abortion groups that showed Planned Parenthood officials , nothing the sale of aborted fetal tissue , Planned Parenthood said that because of this ruling thousands of people will be able to get nasty decapitation that they otherwise would be able to get because of the lack of funding for it , the ruling is also significant because it kind of signals there shows the way there tenth circuit court of appeals might ultimately will understand a more permanent rolling in the fact that it might again rule in favor Planned Parenthood and prevent the funds from being , court decisions in Louisiana and Alabama also blocked attempt this year , stop funding to Planned Parenthood
