>> Five cyclists are dead and four more injured, after the driver of a pickup truck plowed into a group of riders along a road in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Tuesday night collision happening 30 minutes after local police received reports of an erratic driver in the area.>> I seen a Dodge Ram fly past me coming towards my house and I couldn't figure out why, and I seen a blue truck spin around and land in someone's yard.

ke it didn't sound like he collided with people, bikes, it sounded like he legitly hit a tree.>> Police said they were looking for the vehicle when the crash occurred, but were no way in pursuit of the pickup truck when it collided with the riders.
>> The police were actively looking for the vehicle based on the information that had been called into them, but they were not there at the time when this incident happened.>> Police say the cyclists were members of an organized activity group. The 50 year-old driver of the pickup truck was taken into custody.
Local media reported he initially tried to flee the scene on foot. Prosecutors could announce charges Wednesday.
