>> Oscar Pistorius back in court on Monday to learn how long he'll spend in prison for murder. In 2013, the paralympian fired four bullets through a closed bathroom door, killing girlfriend Riva Steinkamp. Nicknamed Bladerunner for his carbon fiber prosthetics, he faces a minimum 15 year sentence. Pistorius has spent recent months under house arrest at his uncle's luxurious mansion in Pretoria.
South Africa's top court ruling in March he has run out of options for appeal.>> The sentence imposed is the maximum imprisonment of five years.>> Initially he received a five-year sentence for culpable homicide, or manslaughter. This week's new sentence to be handed down by his original trial judge.
Pistorious' legal team expected to plead for leniency, saying the athletes is mentally fragile, while the state prosecutor will argue he has shown no remorse. Pistorius maintains he mistook his girlfriend for an intruder.
