>> Former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi is in hospital for heart surgery. The controversial tycoon-turned-politician undergoing a four hour operation. That's after he was diagnosed last week with a defective heart valve. Berlusconi, age 79, taking to Facebook Monday to admit he was worried. But he says he's been cheered by messages of support from across the political spectrum, including from what he says are so-called enemies.
Berlusconi had a pacemaker put in nine years ago. Just a week ago, his party said it was nonsense to say he would need heart surgery.
