nnnnn a toast with old friends a reunion in ho chi minh city of correspondents who covered the vietnam war back when the city was called saigon war that is seared in the world's mind thanks to the dramatic pictures and t. v. images that were transmitted around the world by the press corps still a gregarious lunch having drinks on the roof of the hotel , like they did in days gone by , he's been a week of looking back on what was a devastating war that ended in the fall of saigon now a thriving ho chi minh city and many of the people involved in that war have come back here many moved , stewart all be covered the war for the financial times , young children walking along with arrows looted goods , uh and people , and so , we didn't really suspect although you wonder about many people , whether full sympathies lie many of the old hacks is the group likes to call themselves say they are pulled over by how much vietnam has changed in the past few years nowadays many young vietnamese have few memories of the sights and sounds of the war which paralyzes city the iconic images and stories told by this group now confined to history
