nnnnn the bill as amended is passed the senate overwhelmingly approving a bill giving congress a strong voice and a possible nuclear deal with iran the bill which passed by a rare ninety eight to one grants lawmakers the authority to review and possibly reject any deal agreed to by president obama rolling back iraq's nuclear ambitions matt's botanic is following the story for reuters under this bill our congress will have thirty days to review any final nuclear deal with iran , uh during that period the president would not feel to use executive powers to waive any sign , a compromise version of the bill was endorsed by the white house but conservative republicans florida senator marco rubio and arkansas senator tom cotton had proposed amendments putting tougher constraints on the white house , those amendments brushed aside by the senate thursday in an earlier votes republican senator bob corker the bill's sponsor i think all of us follow i want to see a very strong and durable environment that will ensure that iran does not get a nuclear weapon , if this bill ensures that we have that africa , still to go through those details , and also to two way negotiators have until the end of june to reach a final agreement with iran in exchange for a lifting crippling sanctions
