>> The State Attorney General who's built a name for himself by suing the Environmental Protection Agency is now poised to lead it. Scott Pruitt of Oklahoma is known as an ardent opponent of President Obama's efforts to fight climate change, a concept he's said he's skeptical of. News that he's President-elect Trump's pick as EPA head as enraged green activists.
Who'd taken heart in Trump's meeting earlier this week with former Vice President Al Gore, a prominent voice on climate change. Reuters correspondent Valerie Volcovici.>> There have been a lot of metaphors, some have compared Pruitt as EPA administrator as having a fox guarding the henhouse. Or an arsonist at in charge of a Fire Department.
So there's a high level of hyperbole but their real concerns is that. That Pruitt will not be the kind of guardian of the environment that some of the environmental groups have been hoping to see in this world.>> But the move is being cheered by the Fossil Fuel Industry, thinking Pruitt offers them assurances that
>> The Trump will cut back the EPA and free of drilling in coal mining as he promised on the campaign thrill. Meanwhile, Wednesday, Trump announcing he will nominate the co-founder and former CEO of the WWE pro wrestling franchise, Linda McMahon to head the small Business Administration. The former Senate candidate will be tasked with rolling back federal regulations and generating stronger job growth.
Trump himself is a WWE Hall of Fame member.
