>> Islamic State claiming responsibility for an attack killing at least 25 people, and leaving another 49 wounded. A suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt at Cairo's main Coptic cathedral on Sunday. The militant group releasing a statement on its news agency, AMAC, stating every infidel and apostate in Egypt and everywhere should know that our war continues.
Egyptian authorities on Monday naming the suspect as Mahmoud Shafiq Mohammed Mustafa. The 22 year old student was set to be a supporter of the banned Muslim Brotherhood political movement. His mother saying he had been sexually abused in police custody in 2014, but seeing no signs he had been radicalized.
The explosion in a chapel adjoining St. Mark's Cathedral, the deadliest attack on Egypt's Christian minority in years. Many of those killed, women and children at Sunday mass. In all, four people have been detained, two more are on the run.
