>> A date which will live in infamy.>> The bombing of Pearl Harbor occurring 75 years ago this month. And to commemorate, Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe making a historic announcement Monday, saying he will visit Pearl Harbor with President Obama on December 26th and 27th. Making him the first sitting Japanese leader to visit the site since Japan bombed the naval base there 75 years ago, drawing the US into World War II.

Abe saying in a televised news conference quote, this will be a visit to console the souls of the victims, adding quote, the horrors of war should never be repeated. It will be Abe's final summit meeting with the outgoing Obama who earlier this year became the first sitting US President to visit Hiroshima where the US dropped a nuclear bomb at the end of the war with Japan in 1945.
