>> A scramble for the first UN aid inside Mosul. Iraqi police firing shots. The crash at a distribution center, a sign of desperation in areas retaken from Islamic state. And the challenges facing aid groups dealing with shortages of water, food and fuel as winter sets in. They tried to let people in in small groups, but could not control the surge.
