Queen Bee nabbing nine Grammy Award nominations Tuesday for Lemonade, her hit album about race and female empowerment, the most of any artist, and making her the most nominated female performer in Grammy history.
Kayne West, Rhiana, and Drake all next with eight nods. Chance the rapper getting seven including for Best New Artist. In the biggest category, Album of the Year, Beyonce and Drake duke, it out with that pop siren from across the pond Adel. Her album 25, getting five nods. Other Best Album contenders including Justin Bieber, who made believers out of some cynics with purpose, an album hailed by some beyond the pubescent crowd.
And country music singer Stergil Simpson. This year's winners will be announced at the annual star packed ceremony, to be held February 12th.
