>> The speculation over what president-elect Donald Trump will do with his business interests when he takes office, here's a development few expected. Variety reporting that Trump will remain an executive producer on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, starring another celeb turned politician, Arnold Schwarzenegger. MGM confirming Trump's credit on the show to Variety.
After a 2-year hiatus, the show returns for eight episodes on January 2, just 18 days before Trump enters the Oval Office. The big complication stands from the money Trump will make off the series. Trump's fees will be paid not by NBC which also has an extensive news operation, but by MGM which produces Celebrity Apprentice.
The show's executive producer Mark Burnett met with Trump in New York this week according to Variety. With a source saying Burnett will contribute to the planning of Trump's inauguration.
