>> A heightened risk of terror attacks in Europe this holiday season. The US State Department warning its citizens to exercise caution at festivals, events and outdoor markets. Christmas markets, a popular tourist attraction in many European cities. The State Department says there's credible information that Islamic State and al-Qaeda are planning further attacks throughout the continent.
The number of tourists have already dropped this year following atrocities in Belgium, France and Turkey. The alert urging US holidaymakers to avoid large crowds and be vigilant on public transport and at tourist sites.
