First thing to say is that, the bravery of the players that have come forward is exceptional and to hear the stories is heart breaking, really. I mean, involved in an organization now that is taking that extremely seriously. And I'm impressed with what they are doing at the moment in terms of investigating that.
I can also speak as a parent. And, I think it's important in your life being involved in Grassroot teams. Pretty much every chart has started the club now, has their own child protection officer. So, it would be wrong to say, that nothing has been done over the years and there have been enormous strides.
The important thing over the next few weeks is that, we still investigate what had happened. That we learn from the past. And I must also say that, if I'm a parent sending my child to a game over the weekend, I feel they're in a much better place than we were 15, 20 years ago.
