>> We are keeping families together.>> As the President reversed course on his widely condemned policy of separating children from their families at the border. The question now is, what will happen to the thousands who have already been separated from their parents?>> I'm directing HHS, DA->> Trump announced Thursday he was ordering agencies to reunite separated families.

But administration officials were unable to clarify how quickly family separations would end, or how families would be reunited. Reuters Reed Levinson has the story.>> It's still a bit of a scramble for parents to be reconnected with their children they've been separated from. On the one hand, you have border processing facilities.

You have ORR shelters across the country. You have parents who have been deported to countries like Guatemala and Honduras that are scrambling to be in touch with organizations on the ground. They're reaching out to the consulates. There's still no central system for connecting all these pieces of the puzzle and reuniting parents with children.
00:00:58
>> There is also confusion on where the kids are, having been bused and flown all over the country. On Wednesday, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio was incredulous to find hundreds were right at his doorstep.>> Who are these children? How many are they? Where are they?>> He and a bipartisan group of mayors visited the border Thursday to urge a way out of the crisis.

>> Nothing we are doing today makes our country any safer. And instead it degrades the moral conscience of our country.>> Meanwhile Melania Trump visited a border patrol facility near the Texas border with Mexico on a damage-control mission.>> I'm here to learn about your facility and I also like to ask you how I can help.

>> But a wardrobe choice only added to the bad optics. As she bordered the plane to Texas, she was photographed wearing a jacket from Zara that reads, I really don't care, do you? Trump later responded on Twitter saying the message refers to the fake news media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares.
