>> At least five people are dead and several are injured on Thursday after a single gunman fired through a glass door at the Capital Gazette newspaper office at Annapolis, Maryland and sprayed the news room with bullets.>> This was a targetted attack on The Capital Gazette, he entered the building with a shotgun and he looked for his victims as he walked through the lower level.

>> The suspect in this shooting has been apprehended and no motive is known for the attack. But for now the shooting is being treated as a local incident and not one that involves terrorism. White male, in his late 30s, in custody and our criminal investigation division investigators are interviewing him now.

>> Are there any threats either on social media or directly sent to that building?>> We know that there were threats sent to the Gazette through social media.>> Phil Davis who identified himself as courts and crime reporter at the Capital Gazette tweeted that several people around him had been killed saying, there's nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you're under your desk and then hear the gunman reload.
