>> So we gonna have to start on a new basis and the wall offer is off the table.>> Top Democrats on Tuesday withdrew an offer to fund Trump's border wall, as tough negotiations over the future of young illegal immigrants known as Dreamers, resumed in the Senate. President Trump swiftly reacted to the news lashing out against the top Senate Democrat on Twitter Tuesday night saying quote, crying Chuck Schumer fully understands, especially after his humiliating defeat that if there is no wall, there is no DACA.

Schumer pulled the offer because of what he said was Trumps failure to follow through on the outlines of an immigration deal that two man discussed on Friday, before the government shut down. The border wall offer went beyond a proposed bipartisan plan led by Senators Lindsey Graham and Dick Durbin, that could have provided Dreamers a path to citizenship as well as more that $2.5 billion for border security.

But the White House rejected that approach.>> In short, it's totally unacceptable to the president and should be declared dead on arrival.>> On the campaign trail, Trump vowed that Mexico would pay for the wall to keep out illegal immigrants, Mexico has rejected the idea. As a result, Trump has been forced to ask congress for US taxpayer funds for the wall which could cost more than $21 billion.
