>> Nine deaths, three weeks.>> Officials on Thursday say they tied Cleophus Cooksey Jr. to seven additional murders in the Phoenix area, bringing his total number of alleged victims to nine. Among the victims, 43-year-old Maria Villanueva, who police say was last seen getting into Cooksey's car.>> Her body was found with evidence of a sexual assault the next day.

>> Police say Cooksey then fatally shot his mother and step-father the next day on December 17th. He was then arrested at their home.>> Cooksey had some blood on him and appeared to be concealing things.>> Prison records show Cooksey has a long criminal history with time served for manslaughter and armed robbery.

>> He has been out for I think about 18 months. And during that time he's been in and out of jail.>> Officials say since his arrest, investigators found evidence linking him to seven other homicides. So far, he's been charged with premeditated murder for his parents' killings, but now faces additional murder and weapons charges, as well as one count each of sexually motivated kidnapping and armed robbery.
