>> So you are all okay with leaving that woman out there like that?>> This video taken by a bystander shows four hospital security guards with a wheelchair. They had just left a patient at a bus stop in the freezing cold. All she was wearing was a hospital gown and socks.
>> So y'all just gonna leave this lady out here with no clothes on?>> Imamu Baraka started recording with his cellphone after witnessing what happened Tuesday night outside the University of Maryland Medical Center.>> She's in the heart of downtown Baltimore with no clothing on, vulnerable, fully exposed, literally.
Go ahead and sit down.>>
The hospital has apologized and has opened an investigation into the incident.>> What you saw on that video is not a process that would occur with any frequency at all.>> Catherine Layman is with US Commission on Civil Rights.>> What I see from that video is a person who was not stabilized, is a person who needed further care.
Clearly there was more that that hospital needed to do.>> The hospital did not identify the woman, or say why she had been released. The family said she's now receiving care at a different medical facility.
