european governments are waiting with suspense for a set of proposals from greece that may determine whether the country can stay in the euro zone or crash out and suffer economic calamity , i'm paul taylor roaches european affairs editor in brussels , where by this weekend , decisions will be made that could determine the fate of greece in the eurozone all the european capitals are waiting for the greek prime minister to deliver a really practical set of proposals of reforms of budget cuts tax increases but also reforms to the welfare system and the greek economy so's to make the country's public finances , uh viable again and to make , the country's economy more competitive , those are supposed to be delivered to brussels by midnight , and the greeks have a history of missing deadlines , they will then be rapidly analyzed %HESITATION by the institutions that represent the creditors of grease , see whether this is in fact a package that can plug the enormous budget cuts , if they're satisfied if the , intrusions think that this , of these proposals will work then they will recommend to finance ministers who will meet on saturday that they should accept it %HESITATION if not well they may go back to athens and trying to get more last minute changes in the maybe , a lot of back and forth between now and then finally on sunday european union leaders and %HESITATION %HESITATION europe rudely dismissive posed to meet , sign off on of the start of new negotiations for a new loan to grease , and also on giving grief some temporary money
