a dip in fortune for china's smartphone darlene shall meet the company six month sales down for the first time ever putting its full year target at risk british jerry she in beijing said the tech world didn't see this coming the sales numbers from the past six months were definitely surprising for a company that see nothing but rocket ship growth over the four years and it's been in existence what's been most concerning is the fact that the sales numbers are coming out at a time when analysts say china smartphone market is becoming increasingly saturated with fewer chinese needing to buy phones chemise been looking abroad launching in india southeast asia and from next week brazil but with ninety percent of its market in china falling growth at home is a problem still this could be just a temporary blip this may not spell serious for permanent trouble for the company after all shall me usually launch , uh their hottest products the new smartphones in the second half of the year so we could still see sales rebound sharply but it's is raising questions given that xiaomi has said it's often in vicious goal of selling eighty million %HESITATION for the end of the year and so far it has not reached anywhere near half that number , another growing threat to show me competition , the forty five billion dollar start up was a bright white when it hit the chinese mobile market five years ago , pitch was simple stylish affordable smartphone sold online but today other new tech firms are catching up fueling the fight for smartphone supremacy in a market that is filling up fast
